Sally Rapp is a Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC) who practices from her offices in Westlake, Ohio.  She is skilled in individual, family, marital, and group counseling. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Psychology and Counseling, with high honors, from Ashland Theological Seminary. Her clinical internship at Western Reserve Psychiatric Habilitation Center in Sagamore Hills, Ohio, was also an academic program of the State of Ohio Department of Mental health, and the Ohio State Chaplain's Association. She holds professional memberships in the American Counseling Association, the Ohio Counseling Association, the Association for Religion and Value Issues in Counseling, the National Eating Disorders Association, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

As a counselor, Mrs. Rapp treats adults, adolescents, and children as individuals, couples, or groups that are struggling with emotional issues such as depression, anxiety and panic attacks, eating disorders, addictions, and grief. She also addresses life concerns and spiritual issues, career and/or transitional adjustments, and family and marital difficulties. 

Mrs. Rapp also serves as an organizational development consultant for businesses.  Her expertise in business relations has added a new dimension to employee development, team-building, and averting employee conflict through individual and departmental assessments, testing and evaluation, crisis intervention, and education within the context of individual and group dynamics.  She also provides individuals and groups with executive development assistance and professional success coaching.

Mrs. Rapp has served as Director of Youth Ministry and as chairperson of the Medina Ministerial Association. In her youth work she developed and implemented educational, social, and spiritual programs for young adults ages 14-22. Her extensive counseling experiences have focused on the dynamics of family systems with an emphasis on adolescence. She is a valuable asset in both the public and private school systems as a speaker and as a consultant. She has also participated in the substance abuse prevention program developed by the Teen Institute.

As the author of the "Dear Sally" column for the newsletter publication, The Visitor, which originated from Christ Episcopal Church, Huron, Ohio, Mrs. Rapp addressed the everyday issues of life raised by her avid readers, through the integration of theology, psychology, and practical application.

Mrs. Rapp is a qualified leader and speaker for seminars, retreats, and workshops on the topics of adolescence, family, parenting, marriage, self-esteem, stress, Adult Children of Alcoholics, and co-dependency.
